Privacy Policy
Last updated 16 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Portfolio Studio (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you use our website and services.
1. Who we are
Portfolio Studio is a portfolio creation service that lets you build a professional profile, export a PDF, and optionally publish a hosted public portfolio page.
Privacy questions: kapanadze.dev@gmail.com
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the service, we may collect:
- Account information — name, email address, and password (stored hashed).
- Portfolio content — profile details, education, experience, projects, skills, languages, achievements, contact links, and uploaded images such as profile or project photos.
- Billing records — selected plan, payment status, amounts, currency, and PayPal transaction/subscription identifiers needed to provide paid features.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, and basic usage logs needed to operate and secure the service.
We do not store full card numbers, Apple Pay credentials, or Google Pay credentials. Card and wallet payments are processed by PayPal.
3. How we use information
- Create and manage your account and private editing workspace.
- Generate PDFs and publish public portfolio pages when you choose those features.
- Process payments, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and entitlement access.
- Provide customer support and important service notices.
- Protect the service against fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Improve reliability and user experience.
4. Payments and processors
Payments are processed by PayPal. When you pay, PayPal may receive information needed to complete the transaction, such as payment method details and purchase amount. PayPal’s handling of that information is governed by PayPal’s own privacy policy.
5. Public portfolios
If you publish a hosted portfolio, the content you include in that publication can become publicly visible at your unique URL. Do not publish information you do not want to share publicly.
6. Sharing
We share personal information only when needed to operate the service, including with:
- PayPal, for payment processing and subscription billing.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers that store application data and files.
- Authorities, if required by law or to protect legal rights and safety.
We do not sell your personal information.
7. Retention
We keep account and portfolio data while your account is active. Payment and billing records may be retained as needed for accounting, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. You may request account deletion; some records may remain where retention is required by law.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted transport (HTTPS where configured), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. Your choices
- Update or delete portfolio content from your dashboard.
- Cancel a subscription from your dashboard; access continues through the already-paid period.
- Unpublish or stop sharing a hosted portfolio subject to your plan rules.
- Request account deletion or privacy-related help by emailing kapanadze.dev@gmail.com.
10. Children
Portfolio Studio is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries where we or our service providers operate. By using the service, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed outside your country of residence.
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
